"If
you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back
to the right road;
and in that use the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive". —C.S.
Lewis

Close your eyes for a moment, if you will, and picture you and your
family, parking the car. And as you step out and close the doors, you are sent
back in time 150 years ago to the village of "Goose-Neck Gulch".
A place where time, for the most part, has virtually stood still.
In this special place you find craftsmen and women engaged in their
daily tasks and practicing their skills all while teaching other villagers
their crafts. You stumble across
the homestead and the farm and see horses in use as the primary source of
transportation, you catch the smells of fresh apple-butter, or wood fired oven
baked bread drifting across the air. You’ll
be invited to get dirt under your nails and help work in the gardens and the
craft shops, milk the cows or goats, gather eggs and feed chickens, or the
pigs. You will enjoy the slower
paced, simple life as it was long ago.
Above all, you will witness Gods love displayed in word and deed.
A time when families shared time together in Gods Word, worked together
towards a common goal, and held family values and work ethics in high
standard.
This is what you will find at Old Paths Family Camp.
A place where you can enjoy a “Living History” atmosphere and some
modern activities as well. And
you can do all this WITH YOUR FAMILY. This
is not an “Age-Segregated” week of summer camp for children, but a
valuable time of reformation for the entire family, designed as an aid in the
reformation of the family unit as God has meant for it to be and is instructed by the Bible.

We would like to be located near
Madisonville or Montgomery, Texas in the northern Houston/east central area of Texas. Please see our Land page.
Old Paths Camp will also
available as a retreat center with meeting facilities, sleeping accommodations,
dining facilities, recreational areas, bath houses, etc. We would be
happy to schedule your event. Please see Retreat
Center
